The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) encourages pupils to take mock test before taking real test.

Taking a mock test can help pupils to:

• learn how the driving test works
• understand how faults are assessed
• understand how any mistakes they make would affect their test results
• practise managing nerves when driving in a different environment
